Comb Back Windsor Side Chair

Our Comb Back Windsor side chair is distinctive, rakish in a formal way, and roomy. The legs are Philadelphia blunt arrow, the distinctive seat is designed for the larger and longer modern American frame while staying true to 18th Century form. The simple straight and formal back spindles enter the comb (top) with volutes (end of comb) carved to reflect light in an eye-catching manner. This chair is available painted or stained. The chair shown is died russet amber (matches our Tiger Maple sideboard and table) with a satin lacquer topcoat.
