DESCRIPTION OF CLASS

Students will construct a bow back Windsor chair using mainly hand tools. The legs will be turned on a lathe. The process will include riving green wood for the bow and spindles, steam bending the bow, shaping the bow and spindles using hand tools, turning the legs on the lathe, and shaping the seat using hand tools. Materials and tools will be supplied for use in this course.

7 day course (room and board)included: $1,000.00

$330.00 non-refundable deposit required to hold reservation,
Balance due at time of check-in.

Instruction begins Sunday, May 29 at 1:30 p.m.
Class Instruction Monday through Friday, May 30 - June 3: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Class Instruction Saturday, June 4: 8:00 a.m. until chair is finished.
